Mid April saw Tom and Karen come sailing with us for a week into the BVI. With the continued reversal of the wind, we were literally blown up to Anegada on a southwest wind. The anchorage at Anegada, normally not too bumpy, turned out to be very rough. On the other hand, snorkeling the northside by Loblolly Bay was delightful, if not a little disappointing because of the die off of some of the coral. Although Tom began to have equipment issues early on in the trip, Karen took to the water like a mermaid, and she snorkeled to her hearts content in a variety of different and more beautiful locales. They also did some good hiking especially around Norman Island. At Leinster Bay we hit the snorkel gold vein, seeing a shark, eagle ray, turtles, cuddle fish, file fish, as well as amazing coral reef. The pictures tell the story. Enjoy!!
