In Mid February, Bobbie Rae and I got back from a wonderful trip to St. Croix (one of these days I'll get those photos posted) and got a last minute call to take Canadians Claire and Ugo sailing for a few days. They were visiting in the BVI and we needed to sail there to pick them up at Soper's Hole. We didn't know until the last minute whether this charter was really gonna happen, so we were just hanging out at Christmas Cove and figured either it would or wouldn't. And lo and behold, it did (or would...huh?) Anyway, for the next few days we had a delightful time with this pair of folks. Ugo had a handlebar mustache and I ended up with mustache envy. Oh well... The wind was blowing pretty good, so we ended up in the Bight at Norman Island, where we enjoyed time at Pirate's Bite and Claire and Bobbie Rae swam with the fishes. Ugo, not the greatest swimmer, finally got out on the noodle and didn't drown. At trips end we dropped them off in St. John where they were staying for a few more days before leaving the islands back to their beautiful home Canada.
